The constitution is the ultimate legal sanctity under which the entire Nation is governed. A comprehensive study about the Constitution is absolutely necessary so that it can empower people to fight for their rights and strengthen them to question every injustice in the society.
Centre for Constitutional Literacy (CCL) aims at imparting Constitutional knowledge to the college students and also among the students of 11th and 12th standards in Govt and Govt Aided Schools.
CCL is responsible for conducting socio-legal surveys and engaging in various other activities in order to comprehend various socio-legal concerns.
Setting up awareness classes among Higher Secondary students in Govt. and Govt. Aided Schools for imparting constitutional knowledge is one among them.
CCL will be coordinating with organizations having departments dedicated to constitutional literacy and will strive to maintain an effective communication channel with various social service organizations.CCL will act as a liaison between the judiciary and the constitutional literacy initiative.
CCL constitutional literacy classes have already begun in Chirayinkeezu and Nedumangad C onstituency.
As part of constitutional awareness program,CCL Nedumangad Constituency isconducting an article writing competition on the topic.
“Judicial Independency”.
Guidelines for article writing competition:
1)The articles must be in English language only.
2)Font style: Times New Roman
3)Font size: 12
4)Line spacing: 1.5
5) Word limit: 2500-3000
6)Articles must be original and unpublished. However plagiarism upto 10% is allowed.
7)Body of the email must specify the name and designation, contact no and name of college/ institution of the participant.
