Anoop and Sathar have returned to the world full of sounds which is credited to the grievance redressal adalat ‘Karuthalum Kaithangum’.The adalat overseen by Ministers was held at SDV Centenary auditorium in Alappuzha.
Karuthalum Kaithangum is a taluk level adalat organised as a part of second anniversary of LDF led Govt of Kerala throughout the State.The ministers will listen to the grievances directly in this event on a token basis.
Kalavoor native,Anoop reached adalat with the plea for a hearing aid.He, by birth with a hearing disability of 80% earlier had a hearing aid but got damaged four years ago. Sattar, a Vattayal native aged 62, discovered he is hearing impaired only two years ago.Taking his case, he is tone-deaf by his right ear and is having 70% hearing disability for his left ear and due to his economically impoverished state,he wasn’t able to buy for himself a hearing aid.
Their pleas were recognised by Minister P. Prasad and he directed the District Social Justice Officer A.O. Abeen for the needy procedures to be done. Shalom speech and hearing sponsered the hearing aid for these persons and was handed over by Minister for Agriculture P. Prasad.
Ananthu, a native of Mavelikkara having hearing disability also was given with the hearing aid sponsered by Shalom speech and hearing on 3rd of June at the adalat held at Mavelikkara taluk. He received it from Minister for fisheries Saji Cherian.
