About Kerala State Legal Services Authority
The Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KELSA) is a statutory body established under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. Its primary objective is to provide free and competent legal services to the weaker sections of society, ensuring that opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any citizen due to economic or other disabilities. KELSA also organizes Lok Adalats (People’s Courts) to promote justice on a basis of equal opportunity
