The Honourable High Court of Kerala through its recruitment portal has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Principal Counsellor in the Family Courts in the State of Kerala. Applications can be applied only through online mode and no other means/mode will be accepted.
ABOUT THE POST:
- Name of the Post : Principal Counsellor (Recruitment Number: 7/2025)
- Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment
- Age Limit : 18-36 years ( Candidates born between 2.1.1989 to 1.1.2007, both dates inclusive, are eligible to apply)
- Scale Pay : Rs. 55,200 – Rs. 1,53,000/-
- Number of vacancies : 4 (Subject to change as per the changes in vacancies during the period of validity of the rank list)
- Application Fee : Rs. 500/- ( NA for SC/ST/Unemployed Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)
- Mode of Selection: Either through an Interview or Interview and Written Test, based on the number of applicants.
- Last date of application: 5.02.2025 with online payment of fee. ( Offline remittance of fee will be allowed from 11.02.2025 -19.02.2025)
ELIGIBILITY:
- Educational Qualification:
- Masters in Social Work or Masters in Psychology (Must be awarded by Universities in Kerala or recognized by any University in Kerala)
- Experience in Family Counselling for minimum two years (The conditions regarding minimum experience in family counselling may be relaxed in the candidates otherwise exceptionally qualified and found suitable).
- Preference shall be given to female candidates.
- For candidates residing outside India – must forward an email with the detail of their location with Public IP Address to the mail id: recruitment.hckerala@nic.in, after which they shall be allowed to access the recruitment portal. After completion of their application process, the same has to be intimated via the same mail id.
- For candidates in Service under Government of India or any other State Government : Must obtain a NOC from their Head of the Office/Department and mention the same in the application process.
