‘Bhavika’: For A Better Future

‘Bhavika’: an initiative taken for the better future of the students of Malappuram district. The District Panchayat meeting has decided to implement the Bhavika project, managed by former Chief Secretary GG Thomson, in the district’s public schools by October. Bhavika aims to enable students to appear for competitive exams including civil services and interviews of national standards. It also aims at providing psychological support and strength to children beyond their curriculum and to build the qualities of empathy, responsibility, self-confidence, and critical thinking in students. Selected children from classes 8 to 10 will be given 15-minute classes on subjects like Yoga, Communicative English, General Awareness, Skill Values ​​, and Mathematics 5 days a week. The classes will be conducted by those who have mastered their respective subjects. The fee is Rs 10 per class. It is expected that there will be 200 classes in a year.
