Call for academic implementation team for One Ward One Law Graduate Programme

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Under the aegis of Chirayinkeezhu M.L.A. Sri. V. Sasi and in association with Law and Justice Research Foundation, Trivandrum Chapter , the One Ward One Law Graduate Programme is a first of its kind in India, ambitious programme to provide appropriate and sufficient opportunity to one law aspirant student in every ward for becoming a Law Graduate. The applicants will be first provided free training for the different law entrance exams, and during his/her years of legal study he/she will be provided practical experience in different fields of law and training in different law subjects using the resources of L.J.R.F, and further the students after attaining graduation will be inculcated into the Constitutional Literacy programme and Community Lawyering programme providing great boost to their career and promoting the aims of constitutional literacy and legal aid in his/her community at their ward level. The programme is first being implemented in the wards of Chirayinkeezhu constituency.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

Provide appropriate direction and guidance for higher secondary students to study law degree.
Provide training for the study of various law degree entrance exams.
Provides practical experience and training in various legal disciplines from the beginning of law degree education until graduation.
Community Lawyering Project will be implemented.
Assistance and service to the community will be ensured at the ward level of eligibility

Activity Involved

The volunteers should be involved in taking classes for Class 11 and 12 Students on different subjects for the different law entrance exams according to his/her area of expertise. The academic sessions shall be both online and offline. The activities are being held at Chirayinkeezhu Constituency, Thiruvananthapuram District.

Eligibility

Individuals who hold a valid graduate or postgraduate degree from any recognized College or University in the field of law can apply in this volunteering programme.

The Volunteers will be provided with Internship certificates for the respective times.
