The National Law University – Delhi (NLUD) invites applications for the post of Research Fellow for the project “Multi-scalar Dimensions of Sectoral Water Conflicts Through the Lens of Water Security.” This is a full-time, one-year position (April 2025 – March 2026), extendable up to five years based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research, including case law studies (lower courts, High Courts, Supreme Court, National Green Tribunal).
- Managing an extensive research database.
- Assisting with fieldwork, project workshops, and meetings.
- Collating, analyzing, and publishing research findings.
- Supporting research administration.
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential: LLB graduate with an interest in water law, policy, and governance in India.
Desirable: LLM/PhD in law, prior experience in environmental/water law projects, Hindi proficiency.
Strong English communication and MS Office skills are required.
Remuneration
₹40,000 per month (with an annual increase upon contract renewal).
