The Institute of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Kerala is conducting a two day National seminar.
ABOUT INSTITUTE OF PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS
The Institute of Parliamentary Affairs (INPA) is an institution established by the Government of Kerala in 2003 under the Travancore – Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955. The Institute was formally inaugurated on 22nd July 2004.
The basic idea behind the establishment of INPA is to strengthen parliamentary democracy in the country, and foster a sense of comradeship and spirit of democratic citizenship among its people, in short to make democracy the organizing principle of the social and political life of the people of India, particularly that of Kerala.
ABOUT THE NATIONAL SEMINAR
This seminar specifically seeks to investigate the contribution of the keralites towards constitutional democracy, especially the pioneering roles played by Sir. C Sankaran Nair and V P Menon. Dept. of History Govt. Arts College and Dept. of History Govt. College for Women is jointly organizing this seminar on the framing of Indian Constitution and the role played by Keralites. It will be conducted on 14th and 15th December 2022. The venue of the programme will be Seminar Hall of Govt. College for Women.
