Since our state is witnessing dowry related deaths and other savage attacks on women it is worth to create a massive awareness against the concept of dowry as a matter of right of men. In order to accomplish the said purpose District Legal Services Authority Thiruvananthapuram in association with Law And Justice Research Foundation has decided to conduct a SHORT FILM CONTEST AMONG LAW COLLEGE STUDENTS of Kerala as part of PAN India Awareness And Outreach Programme from second October, 2021 to fourteenth November, 2021 as a part of ‘AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV’AND LEGAL SERVICES WEEK from 08th to 14th November, 2021.
TEAM COMPOSITION AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Competition is open for students pursuing Five year integrated and Three year LL.B courses.
2. Each team shall comprise any number of persons according to their convenience 3. Students can also incorporate actors from public. Need not to be necessarily from students.
CRITERIA FOR MAKING THE SHORT FILM
1. Originality-There must be uniqueness and originality of the premise or story.
2. Message Effectiveness- Does the film clearly depicts the message of the anti- dowry or causes of it.
3. Cinematography-The quality of cinematography or videography demonstrated in the work.
4. Pacing & Structure-The timing of the action, unfolding of plot elements and character development.
5. The short film should be less than 10 minutes.
6. It must be creative and innovative with catchy moments
7. Language to be used must be Malayalam.
8. English subtitles must be given
9. At the beginning of the short film it must be indicative that as part of which program it is made.
