About the Institution
Gujarat Law Society, one of the biggest and most established educational institutions in the State of Gujarat, which was founded in 1927.With the introduction of the Faculty of Law in 2015, GLS has been recognized for quality in legal education and has been included in Forbes Legal Power List 2020. The Faculty of Law offers B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B.(H), LL.B.(H), and LL.M. programs.
Eligibility
The Competition shall be open to students who are pursuing any integrated 5-year
LL.B. programme in India; Only 32 teams on a first-come, first-serve basis shall be allowed to
register
Important Dates
- Release of moot problem: 11th October 2024.
- Last date for registration: 25th November 2024.
- Last date for clarifications: 24th December 2024.
- Last date for submission of Soft Copy of the Memorials (word & PDF Format) (google form submission): 5th January 2025.
- Last date for submission of hard copy of the memorials (postal service) (4 copies from each side): 10th January 2025
- Registration, draws of lots submission (7 Copies from Each side) and researcher’s test: 17th January 2025.
- Inauguration preliminary round, quarterfinal Round and semi-final Round: 18th January, 2025.
- Final round and valedictory ceremony: 19th January 2025.
Team Composition
- Each team shall consist of 3 members, two ‘Oralists’ or ‘Speakers’ or ‘Mooter’(s) and one
‘Researcher’. - Only the team member(s) designated as Oralists/Speaker/Mooter shall be allowed to put forth oral submissions.
- An institution shall only be represented by one team. More than one team from the same
institution is not permissible. - Under no condition shall a team consisting of more than 3 members be allowed to participate.
- Any additional member or Team Coach accompanying a Team will not be entitled to a certificate from the OC. Such persons shall not be provided accommodation facilities by the host institution.
Registration Details
Final registration, with a fee of Rs. 3500/- per team (or Rs. 5000/- with accommodation), is required to be completed along with a signed form from the institution head. Registration should be done before November 25, 2024, by 11.59 pm.

- Best Researcher: Trophy and Rs. 21,000/-
- Best Student Advocate from Appellant side: Trophy and Rs. 50,000/-
- Best Student Advocate from Respondent Side: Trophy and Rs. 50,000/-
- Certificates will be issued to all the participants
