On the eve of India’s State Reorganisation, the “Marathwada Legal & General Education Society” founded Manikchand Pahade Law College, the oldest law college in the Marathwada area. The law college is accredited by the Indian Bar Council and affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University,
About the Competition
For more than 50 years, the college has been known for its Moot Court Competition, which is the Moot Court Association’s premier event. It attracts participation from the best law schools and NLUs around the country and is regarded as one of the best moot court contests in the area.

Eligibility
Competition is open to students enrolled in L.L.B 3 years or 5 years LL.B. program at an institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Team Composition
- Each team shall consist of 3 members, Two “Speakers” and One “Researcher”.
- Teams shall not reveal their identity in any form during the course of the Competition.
- Only one team can register from a particular Law School/College/University.

Winner Team: Late Adv. Shri. Sudhakarrao Deshmukh Trophy and Cash Prize of Rs. 7000/-
Runner Up: Late Adv. Shri Sudhakarrao Deshmukh Trophy and Cash Price of Rs. 5000/-
Best Petitioner from Final Round Cash Prize of Rs. 2000/- and Trophy (Late Adv. L.N. Sirsamkar)
Best Respondent from final round cash prize of Rs.2000/-and Trophy in the memory of Late Adv. A.B. Bajpai.
Late Adv. Shri. Sudhakarrao Deshmukh Trophy for Best Mooter in all rounds

Registration
