It highlights the commitment of people of India for asserting, ensuring and achieving various national goals through a peaceful and democratic ways by accommodating and adapting to the changing needs and realities of the times. Transformative Constitutionalism is a progressive approach to constitutional interpretation.
In the light of the same, Dr. A. Suhruthkumar centre for Law, Society and Justice is conducting a special lecture on “Transformative Constitutionalism for reading the text in the context”. The event will be on Thursday, 08-06-2023 in the seminar hall, Government Law college, Thiruvananthapuram. It is to be held from 11 am to 1 am with the Guest speaker being Dr. Giri Sankar S S who is a retired Associate Professor from Government Law College, Ernakulam. The core initiative for the same is taken by Dr. Meena kumary S, Principal (I/C) and the Chairman of Dr A. Suhruthkumar Centre for law, society and justice(CLJS) along with Dr. Bindhu S, Director of CLJS followed the support of the Executive Committee members Dr. Krishna Kumar, Sri. Safi Mohan, Smt. Priya Vijayan and Dr. Anju Rajan.
