Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2025 – Junior Court Assistant

Salary & Pay Scale

  • Pay Level: 6 (Initial Basic Pay: ₹35,400/-)

Eligibility Criteria (as of 08.03.2025)

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Typing Speed: Minimum 35 w.p.m. in English typing on a computer
  • Computer Knowledge: Must be proficient in computer operations
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years (Relaxation as per government norms)

Selection Process

Candidates will have to clear the following stages:
1. Objective Test (100 Marks, 2 Hours)

  • General English (50 questions)
  • General Aptitude (25 questions)
  • General Knowledge (25 questions)

2. Computer Knowledge Test (Objective Type, 25 Marks)

Typing Test (Minimum 35 w.p.m. speed, 10 minutes)

3. Descriptive Test (Essay Writing, Precis, & Comprehension, 2 Hours)

Interview – Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:3 ratio (3 candidates per vacancy).
