Our country’s criminal laws and law of evidence are all set to undergo a complete makeover in the coming days. Any change in the criminal justice system of our country can cause major upheavals in society. The realisation of obligation cast upon the prosecutors’ community in securing a victim’s sense of justice and to initiate debates on the same has driven the Kerala Assistant Public Prosecutors Association (KAPPA) to organise a symposium on this topic.
The program is scheduled to be held on 20 -01-2024 at M.K Damodaran Memorial Hall, Ernakulam at 10 AM.
The event will be inaugurated by the Honourable Law Minister of Kerala, Shri. P. Rajeev.
Director General of Prosecution Shri. T. A. Shaji will be the chief guest in the event.
Legal expert and former chairman of National Judicial Academy, Shri. Dr. Mohan Gopal will deliver the keynote address.
The event will be presided over by the KAPPA President. It will be moderated by Shri. Girish Panchu and will witness representatives of the legal fraternity and law students share their views. KAPPA requests the presence and cooperation of all to make this initiative a success.
