Constitution of India is the supreme law of the country and every citizen of our country has to abide by the constitution . It is one of the utmost admired constitutions in the world that has stood the test of times. The ‘Preamble’ of the Constitution is a brief introductory statement that sets out the guiding purpose and principles of the Constitution. It lays down the main objectives which the legislation intends to achieve. It gives direction and purpose to the Constitution and contains ideals that the Constitution seeks to achieve. It also enshrines the grand objectives and socio-economic goals which are to be achieved through constitutional processes.
