8TH NLIU-SINGHANIA & PARTNERS NATIONAL CLIENT COUNSELLING COMPETITION, 2026

About the Competition :

The National Client Counselling Competition allows law students to hone their practical client-interaction skills through a simulated counsel-client consultation, judged by eminent legal professionals. Past editions have featured judges including Justice J.K. Maheshwari and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma (Supreme Court of India), Justice Suresh Kumar Kait (former Chief Justice, Madhya Pradesh High Court), Justice Vishal Dhagat (Madhya Pradesh High Court), and senior partners from Singhania & Partners LLP.

Venue: National Law Institute University, Bhopal (Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal – 462044, Madhya Pradesh)
Organized by: NLIU Moot Court Association, in collaboration with Singhania & Partners LLP

Format & Capacity :

Maximum 20 participating teams
Judges and adjudicators physically present for both preliminary and advanced rounds

Winners: Certificate + ₹21,000 cash prize + internship opportunity with Singhania & Partners LLP

Runner-up Client (NLIU Bhopal students only): Internship with Singhania & Partners LLP
All participants receive a Certificate of Participation
