LJRF Young Talents 2025 : Aleena Henry

Aleena Henry is a young legal researcher and academic contributor pursuing BBA LL.B. (Hons.) at Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies, Aluva with a growing profile in legal research, academic leadership, human rights advocacy, and legal education initiatives. With a strong interest in international law, peacebuilding, and human rights, she has actively engaged in research, legal aid, content development, and student leadership throughout her academic journey.

She currently serves as the Academic Manager of the LJRF LMS Platform under ljrfvoice.com, where she oversees academic coordination, learning initiatives, and the development of skill-oriented legal education programs. She also works as a Resource Person for the LJRF LMS, contributing to legal learning modules, academic sessions, and student engagement activities aimed at bridging practical legal knowledge with accessible learning.

Apart from her academic management role, Aleena is also associated with LJRF Voice as a Student Editor and content contributor, actively participating in legal writing, publication review, and thematic content planning. Her involvement reflects a commitment to making legal education more interactive, practical, and socially relevant.

Education

Currently pursuing BBA LL.B. (Hons.) at Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies , maintaining consistent academic performance throughout the integrated program. Completed Class 11–12 (CBSE) from Nirmalamatha Central School in 2021, and completed schooling up to Class 10 at International Indian School,Riyadh,kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Aleena Henry has actively engaged in legal research and academic writing with a focus on constitutional law, human rights, media law, and criminal jurisprudence. Alongside her academic pursuits, Aleena Henry has actively engaged in professional training, leadership initiatives, and legal awareness programs that reflect her commitment to dispute resolution, constitutional literacy, and community engagement. She successfully completed the 40-hour Mediation Masterclass (Foundational+ Level) conducted by The Mediation Society in collaboration with Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies, which included intensive mediation training and in-person role-play workshops focusing on negotiation and dispute resolution skills.

As a Speaker at Niyamodhayam 2024 – Legal Literacy Drive, organized by Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority and the Teachers’ Guild, Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese, she delivered legal awareness sessions in more than 100 schools, focusing on fundamental rights, constitutional duties, and constitutional literacy among students. She has also participated as a Model United Nations Delegate, representing the Republic of Cuba at the BSOLS MUN, demonstrating her interest in diplomacy, international relations, and global policy discussions.

She also participates in legal awareness camps, community outreach programmes, Lok Adalat proceedings, and pre-litigation dispute resolution activities, reflecting her commitment to social justice and public legal education.
