Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, Former Chief Justice of India, invites applications for the position of Junior Associate (Retainership) to join his office in New Delhi.
Number of Positions: Two
Location: Delhi
Retainership Fee: ₹1,00,000/- per month
Retainership Term: One year, extendable by mutual consent
Probation Period: Three months
Application Window: 21 April 2025 – 20 May 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
- Law degree (3-year/5-year) from a recognized university.
- Open to candidates from the graduating batch of 2025 to those with up to four years post-qualification experience (PQE).
Nature of Work:
- Legal research and preparation of legal opinions.
- Assistance in drafting speeches, articles, and books.
- Support through the course of domestic and international arbitrations.
Terms of Engagement:
- Exclusive retainership: Associates are prohibited from taking up any independent legal assignments, including filing Vakalatnamas or appearing before any courts, tribunals, or legal forums.
- Candidates must adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.
