

About the Organisation
Government Law College Thiruvananthapuram (GLC TVM), established in 1875, is Asia’s oldest law school. Affiliated with Kerala University and recognised by the Bar Council of India, it hosts various academic initiatives through the Sasker Memorial Study Circle and Halla Bol Literary and Debate Club.

Date: 30 July 2025
Topic: “Art and Literature Should Always Be Political”
Rules:
- Preliminary Round:
- 2 speakers per team (one For/one Against the motion)
- 2.5 minutes per speaker (no rebuttals)
- Final Round:
- Top 4 teams qualify
- 3 minutes per speaker → Rebuttals → Judge Q&A
- Topic announced 10 minutes before the round
General Rules:
– Consistent language per round
– Strict time limits enforced

Open to undergraduate/postgraduate students from UGC/AICTE-recognized institutions.
