Leading law firm Khaitan & Co has announced its annual round of promotions, elevating a total of 49 lawyers across its offices. Out of these, 17 lawyers have been promoted to the position of Partner, while 32 have been designated as Counsel.
The newly promoted Partners come from diverse practice areas such as corporate law, dispute resolution, real estate, employment law, capital markets, and taxation. These elevations reflect the firm’s continued emphasis on recognising internal talent and strengthening its leadership across key practice areas.
With this development, the firm’s leadership strength has grown to 349, marking a significant expansion in its senior ranks.
In its statement, the firm highlighted that these promotions are not just a recognition of past performance but also a step towards building future leadership. The newly inducted partners are expected to play a key role in mentoring teams, managing client relationships, and contributing to the firm’s long-term growth.
The promotions span multiple offices including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, and even Singapore, showcasing the firm’s pan-India and international presence.
