Lekshmi Priya has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law for her doctoral thesis, titled “A Study on Popular Legal Narratives and its Implications on Judicial Independence: A Gender Perspective”. The study examines the influence of societal narratives on judicial decision-making, particularly from a gender perspective.
Lekshmi Priya completed her LLB from Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, securing Fifth Rank. She later pursued her LLM in Criminal Law from the School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, where she graduated with First Rank. Her academic journey reflects a strong commitment to legal scholarship and research.

In addition to her academic accomplishments, Lekshmi Priya has gained valuable professional experience. She practiced as an advocate at the District Courts in Mavelikara and Kottayam, and later served as a Scale I Legal Officer at Karnataka Bank, handling legal matters related to banking and financial regulations.
Lekshmi Priya has authored several academic publications in reputed journals, contributing to discussions on contemporary legal issues. She has also been an active member of the Law and Justice Research Foundation (LJRF) since 2020, further engaging in scholarly and research-oriented legal activities.
