Government Law College Kozhikode in association with PRTC Kozhikode conducts Justice VR Krishna Iyer Memorial English Essay Writing Competitions on18th December 2021, Saturday at 9:00 to 9:45 AM
ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Government Law College, Kozhikode was established in the year 1970.It is the third Government Law College in the State and is affiliated to the University of Calicut and approved by Bar Council of India (BCI). The college offers LLB and Integrated LLB at UG level and LLM at PG level. Admission to these courses are offered on the basis of score obtained in Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala.
Competition Guidelines
- Competitions will be held under two categories.
(a) Category 1: Students from Law Colleges
(b) Category 2: Practicing Lawyers up to the age of 45. - Duration
(a) Essay Writing – 45 minutes (not more than 300 words) - Interested contestants shall submit the online application through Google form
link given below on or before 5th December 2021. - Contestants in category 1 securing First, Second and Third places will be
awarded ₹5000, ₹2500 and ₹2000 respectively along with Merit Certificates. - Contestants in category 2 securing First, Second and Third places will be
awarded ₹10,000, ₹5000 and ₹2500 respectively along with Merit Certificates. - All participants will be given Participation Certificates.
- Participants should report at the Venue at 8:45 AM on 18th December 2021.
- Results will be announced on the same day itself.
- Prizes/Certificates will be distributed in a function on the same day at the
college.
