Keraleeyam 2023 has started off on a splendid note on the 1st of November 2023, delivering everything it had promised so far with grace and diligence. It is indeed the biggest celebration of Kerala and will be held for a week until the 7th of November.
Organized by the Government of Kerala, Keraleeyam intends to present Kerala’s progress, achievements, and cultural heritage to the world. With seminars, activities, exhibitions, fairs, festivals, and shows in more than 40 venues, Keraleeyam promises to showcase the ‘Best of Kerala’.
As a part of this, an Open Forum discussion will be conducted on ‘The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016′. The panel will be chaired by Shri. S.H.Panchapakesan, the Commissioner of The State Commissionerate for Persons with Disabilities. The panelists for the event are Safi Mohan M.R, Asst. Professor at Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram and Adv. J. Sandhya, former member of the Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
The event will be conducted on the 3rd of November 2023 (Friday), from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the University College, Thiruvananthapuram.
