Young Talents LJRF 2023- Adv. Parvathy R S

Law and Justice Research Foundation was constituted with the goal to reach out to the community in creating a sense of awareness on the ever-evolving legal principles and law of the land with an emphasis on the Constitution through its Centre for Constitutional Literacy. Each year LJRF has been on a mission to encourage likeminded individuals to join this platform to carry forward this noble feat.

Hailing from Kadaikodu, Kollam, Parvathy R S is an Advocate and presently practicing at Kottarakara. She completed her graduation from The Kerala Law Academy and is currently a member of the Kottarakara Bar Association. At LJRF, she holds the post of Convenor of LJRF Centre for Constitutional Literacy.

Adv. Parvathy has excelled all the way through her schooling and college years and has been quite the leader from whom one can emulate. The Vice Captain of her school with many a talents, she won the first prize in an Essay Writing Competition conducted in memory of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam (2017) and also participated in CBSE Kalolsavam for extempore English and Malayalam (2017). During her colleges days she has had the privilege of being the Convenor of Tabulation Wing and be part of various webinars both at the National and Internatinoal level. She has shown quite a fervour in compering and showcased her talent by being the compere for many a school events and also the famed Law Fest organized by Kerala Law Academy in 2022. She does not shy away from using her innate talent of composing poetry, establish her thoughts through quotes and even short stories which were published in ‘Mirakee’ (a writing community) of which she has been active member since 2018. She has accomplished quite a feat in her career as well. As a Resource person of “Back to School” organised by Kudumbasree (2023-2024), she took awareness classes at the Panchayat level on the matter of Dowry Prohibition in 2023.

LJRF Activities

Adv. Parvathy R S has been an inspiration to all by leading the LJRF Centre for Constitutional Literacy. As part of being the Convenor of the Centre, she has led the Centre in collaborating with DLSA for a webinar with regard to Constitution Day in 2023. She took a lecture session during the LJRF Internship on Journalism about the LJRF Centre for Constitutional Literacy – on its aim and working. She is also the part of Research team of Constitutional Literacy Centre. 2023 witnessed an outstanding performance by the Centre in reaching out to the community to educate about the Constitution.

2024 Activities

In 2024, LJRF Centre for Constitutional Literacy conducted an awareness class in association with Social Justice Cell, Alappuzha guided by Adv. Parvathy R S at two different colleges – Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara and Christian College, Chengannur.
