About Society of Construction Law (Kerala )
Society of construction law (Kerala) is the Kerala chapter of society of construction law (India). SCL India was founded in 2016 to promote education, study, and research (and publication of the valuable results of such research) in the field of construction law and related subjects and its dissemination in India and overseas. Thus, SCL India encourages the active involvement of all of its members and generates discourse across a broad spectrum of issues relating to construction law, including matters of policy and legislation, front-end issues, dispute avoidance, and all forms of dispute resolution.

About the Course
Add on course on construction law and arbitration is provided by LJRF in association with SCL Kerala. The course aims to equip the participants with indepth knowledge regarding construction law and the application of arbitration in the field of construction. Combining two crucial subjects the course offers multidimensional knowledge in the emerging field of construction.
Course Deatils
This is a 40 hours course conducted over a span of 2 months.
The course is conducted exclusively online via Google meet.
Course schedules and Google meet link would be shared in the below mentioned whatsapp group.
A total of 75% of attendence mandatory for receiving certificate.
Participants should also complete works assigned to them for successful completion of the course.
There is no course fee.
Comprehensive Syllabus
Module 1: The Foundations & The Birth of the Contract
Module 2: Project Governance & Administration
Module 3: Managing Time and Money (The Deep Dive)
Module 4: Dispute Resolution
Course Work
Participants would be provided assignments based on subjects covered in the course. It would include:
(i) Article Submission (10 marks)
(ii) Video Presentation (10 marks)
(iii) Test (10 marks)
(iv) Final Course Exam (60 marks)
And 10 marks for attendence.
Participants would be evaluated based on their performance in the above mentioned activities, attendence and interactiveness during the sessions.
