Hamari Pahchan NGO is inviting applications for a one-month online legal internship for law students. The internship offers exposure to legal research, policy advocacy, legal awareness, and social-impact initiatives.
About Hamari Pahchan
Hamari Pahchan is a Delhi-based NGO working towards advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its initiatives focus on areas including social justice, women’s empowerment, education, health advocacy, and community development.
The organisation combines legal awareness with grassroots action to support marginalised communities and promote sustainable social impact.
About the Internship
The internship is designed for law students who wish to gain practical exposure to public interest law and social-impact work.
Interns will work on real-world legal and social issues including education, malnutrition, menstrual hygiene, elderly care, and community rights awareness.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated law course such as B.A. LL.B. or B.B.A. LL.B.
- Students from all academic years can apply.
- Candidates should possess good research, writing, and communication skills.
- An interest in public interest law, human rights, and social-impact initiatives is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Selected interns may be required to:
- Conduct legal and policy research relating to social justice issues.
- Draft legal awareness materials, including pamphlets, posters, and digital content.
- Assist in developing campaign strategies.
- Contribute to digital fundraising initiatives.
- Track legal developments and suggest policy recommendations.
- Support the NGO’s pro bono legal network and outreach activities.
- Create educational videos and short-form content for legal awareness.
- Learn the process of filing RTIs.
- Contribute to advocacy reports concerning selected social causes.
Duration
1 month
The internship will be conducted during August–September 2026. Selected candidates are expected to join from the first week of the month following their selection.
