CriteriaApplicants must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent grade where a grading system is followed.
A relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks at the graduate and postgraduate levels may be applicable to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently Abled categories, in accordance with the applicable norms for direct recruitment to teaching positions.
Candidates are also expected to possess:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time-management and organisational abilities.
- The ability to work with undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Skills necessary to contribute to student support, academic administration and pastoral care.
- Academic and research capabilities appropriate to their career stage.

Preference may be given to candidates who:
- Have published research in high-quality academic journals.
- Have demonstrated academic excellence during their university education.
- Have an established research record appropriate to their level of experience.
