The Justice T.S.Krishnamoorthy Iyer Fellowship and Justice K Sankarasubbier Fellowship is an initiave by Kerala High Court Advocate’s Association (KHCAA) supported by Jistice TSK Iyer Family aimed at empowering and first generational lawyers practicing before the High Court of Kerala. This fellowship provides a platform to encourage professional excellence and recognize promising talent in the legal field. The Justice T.S.Krishnamoorthy Iyer Fellowship will be awarded to five female advocates and Justice K Sankarasubbier Fellowship will be awarded to five male advocates.
About Justice TSK Iyer
Justice T.S.Krishnamoorthy Iyer began his legal practice in the year 1935 and hails from a family of distinguished judges and administrators. In 1965 he was appointed as the Advocate General of Kerala followed by his elevation as Judge of High Court of Kerala in the same year. He retired from High Court of Kerala in the year 1973 and continued his legal practice as a senior counsel in the Supreme Court of India. He served as a member of the Eight Law Commision of India from 1977 to 1979. Justice T.S.Krishnamoorthy Iyer passed away on 3rd September 1999.
About Justice K Sankarasubbier
Justice K Sankarasubbier graduated from Madras Christian College and pursued law from Madras Law College. He served in the Travancore Judicial Services and was later elevated as Judge of Travancore High Court. He retired in 1946. He was a talented tennis player and a voracious reader and a public orator. Justice K Sankarasubbier passed away in 1963.

Selected advocates would be awarded with a cashprice of 25,000/- INR each and a Certificate of Recognition.
Eligibility
To qualify for the fellowhip, the applicant must:
• Be a first generational lawyer.
• Be under 30 years of age as on the date of deadline.
• Be enrolled with any recognized Bar Council in India.
• Should be actively practicing before the High Court of Kerala.

Deadline for submission of application: 2nd December 2024, Monday before 12pm.
Anouncement of Awardee: December 5, 2024.
Award Ceremony: December 6, 2024
