The Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols (ICREP) at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, invites applications for its prestigious Two-Months Student Internship Program for the year 2025-26. This is a unique opportunity for graduate and postgraduate students from the disciplines of Law and Science (from India and abroad) to engage in meaningful interdisciplinary research focused on ethics and policy.
The internship will be conducted in a hybrid mode (both online and offline), making it accessible to a wide range of participants. Selected interns will receive a scholarship amount of ₹5000/- upon the successful completion of the program and submission of the final report. The program aims to cultivate young minds to critically explore the intersection of science, law, and ethics, and contribute to resolving emerging ethical dilemmas in interdisciplinary domains.

Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate or postgraduate course in a recognized institution or university in the fields of science or law. Candidates must submit an application (application form attached below) by post or by hand to the Centre, accompanied by an original Bonafide Certificate, an updated CV, any previously written article or report (if available), and an abstract not exceeding 200 words proposing empirical research on a topic that connects science and law with ethical implications.
Selection Process:
- Initial screening based on the abstract
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview
- Selection will be strictly merit-based

Please note that students who have already completed an internship with ICREP are not eligible to apply again. Attendance throughout the internship is compulsory, and active participation will be monitored daily via Google Classroom.
