About the Role
Treelife is looking for a motivated and organized Law Intern to support its legal team. The intern will work under the guidance of experienced attorneys across a mix of transactional, compliance, and general legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and analysis on a range of legal issues
- Assisting in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, including contracts and briefs
- Attending client meetings and taking notes
- Supporting administrative tasks such as filing and organizing documents
- Assisting on investment transactions for start-ups and investors from drafting and vetting to negotiating transaction documents
- Supporting compliance and legal functions
- Working across a mix of routine and complex matters spanning company law, data protection, commercial contracts, foreign investments, and acquisitions/exits
Who Should Apply
- Currently enrolled in a law school
- Available for a full-time internship (in-office)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Solution-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills
- Working proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
