Social Justice Department in association with District Probation Office Aalapuzha, District Legal Service Authority Aalapuzha and Kerala Jail Department conducted Nervazhi program on 26th and 27th September 2022 at Aalapuzha District Jail.
The program aims to provide awareness classes for the inmates of Aalapuzha District Jail. Classes on life skills , legal awareness , personality development and anti narcotics awareness were conducted.

Presidential speech was delivered by Sri Abeen O. A ( Social Justice Officer Aalapuzha District ). Sri. R. Sreekumar ( Superintendent District Jail Aalapuzha ) delivered welcome speech.
The program was felicitated by Sri. Shajahan. S ( District Probation Officer I , Aalapuzha ) and by Sri. Santhosh.G ( A.D.P.O Aalapuzha ). Sri. Linu Sibechan ( Probation Assistant Officer, Aalapuzha ) briefed Nervazhi Program.

NERVAZHI PROGRAM 2022
Class 01 : Legal Awareness Class
Advocate Devi R Raj (Bar Association Aalapuzha ) conducted class on the topics Probation of Offenders Act 1958, Probation Policies and Jail Rules.
Class 02 : Legal Awareness Class
Adv. V. S. Karthikeyan ( Bar Association Aalapuzha ) conducted class on the topics criminal proceedings to be known by remand prisoners and information about POCSO, NDPS and KOTPA.
Class 03 : Rebut Your Life
Sri. Lalu Malayil ( Transformation Trainer ) conducted classes on motivation, mental support, meditation and group activity.
Class 04 : Anti Narcotics Class
Sri. Littimon M. S (Project Coordinator Aspect Punnapra ) conducted classes on how to identify habits of drug abuse, health issues caused by drug abuse and how to recover from drug addiction.
The program has ignited the minds of jail inmates. They are now aware of various Indian laws and the harmful effects of narcotics. They’re hopeful to lead a better life than before through the ‘rebut your life ‘ class. The Nervazhi program was a huge success.
