Event Overview
Registrations are invited for the Bar Council of India Trust National Moot Court Competition, in collaboration with Unitedworld School of Law (UWSL), Karnavati University, Gandhinagar. Memorials must be submitted by October 15.
About the Organizers
Karnavati University, established in 2017, is a private university in Uvarsad, Gujarat, focusing on interdisciplinary education. The Unitedworld School of Law (UWSL) offers law programs, including BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), with specializations in various fields of law. The Karnavati University Moot Court Society (KUMCS) organizes moot court competitions to enhance students’ advocacy and legal research skills.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate law courses at recognized colleges, institutions, or universities.

Registration Procedure
Teams can register by:- Completing the Google Form linked at the end of the announcement.
Filling out the registration form attached to the Bar Council of India Notification dated 18.09.2024 and emailing it, along with proof of payment, to kumcs.uwsl@karnavatiuniversity.edu.in.### Important Dates–
15th October 2024:Memorial submission deadline (soft copy) by 11:59 p.m.
18th October 2024 -Hard copy memorial submission, registration, room allotment, and exchange of memorials.
19th October 2024- Inaugural ceremony, preliminary rounds, quarter-finals, cultural night, and announcement of quarter-final results.
20th October 2024 Semi-finals, finals, valedictory ceremony, and prize distribution.
Note: There is no last date for registration, but teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fee Details-
Registration Fee: Rs. 3000/– The fee includes accommodation and food for the participating team for all three days of the competition.- Registration is complete once the fee is paid and the registration form is emailed or the Google Form is submitted.-
Registration fees are non-refundable.

1st Runner Up:Rs. 1,00,000/
2nd Runner Up: Rs. 50,000/–
Best Speaker:Rs. 10,000/-
2nd Best Speaker- Rs. 7,500/
Best Memorial:Rs. 10,000/–

Awards by Bar council of India
Additionally, top performers will receive scholarships of Rs. 1,000/- per month for a year from the Bar Council of India, and outstanding briefs may be published in the Indian Bar Review.
